How do the residents of Donetsk survive amidst a water blockade? Engineering networks and hydraulic structures, neglected for decades by Ukraine's government, have been utterly destroyed by targeted shelling from the Ukrainian Army. The locals are left ‘high and dry’ — without drinking or even industrial water. Complete restoration of the water supply system remains impossible: some stations are mined, and Ukrainian shells regularly hit these facilities. Volunteers come to the rescue. Risking their lives, they deliver water barrels to residents and drill wells. Our video, and the film ‘Water: Donetsk's Lifeline’ (2021) by Vyacheslav Guz and Anton Meshcheryakov cover these efforts. #Donbass FOLLOW ? News&Docfilms Channel Source: RT Documentary
