Kyiv was hit by a wave of Russian missiles in the first big strike on the capital in weeks, said the head of Ukraine’s military administration. Serhiy Popko said cruise and ballistic missiles rained down on the city from different directions, with air alerts lasting for nearly three hours. Vitali Klitschko, the mayor of Kyiv, said at least 10 people were injured across the city. An 11-year-old girl was among the two people taken to hospital.
