This display was created a year ago by Aquarium Gardens owner, Dave Pierce. In this tutorial video you will see how it was created step by step, and the finished display after 60 days. The main aim of this display is to show that you can use commonly found materials and still create an eye catching layout. In this case, bogwood and lava stone was used. As always we emphasise using good quality reputable equipment that gives you great results with plant growth. As in this video, the beautiful plant growth is down to CO2 injection using a Strideways regulator kit, RGB lighting by Wio Slim WRGB and a large external Biomaster canister filter by Oase. A good quality substrate system and liquid fertilizers will aid long term growth and health of the plants. Here we are using Tropica Aquarium Soil, ADA Power Sand and APT 3 Complete fertilizer. This Aquascape can be found in the Aquarium Gardens showroom and shop, based in Huntingdon, UK. Or shop online at All materials, plants and equipment can be purchased from us in store or online. Thank you for watching this video, and please feel free to leave and questions or queries in the comments.
