В частности, басовые педали воспроизводятся с полнотой и глубиной, необычно для этого винтажного винила, присутствует лишь слабый студийный шум, портящий фоновую атмосферу. Эта оригинальная запись заслуживает внимания, поскольку она довольно редкая и одна из немногих записей театрального органа с дополнительным бонусом в виде блестящего ритмичного перкуссионного аккомпанемента. Настоящая жемчужина. Уникальность в том, что ударный аккомпанемент придает омолаживающий оттенок этому обычно сольному инструменту, делая его звучание более доступным для слушателей, которые обычно считают соло органа несколько сухим. Sept. ’01] and a 2-man percussion section play the old warhorses [Ritual Fire Dance, Theme from Scheherezade, Polovtsian Dances, and 4 others] with invigorating snap- Hunter coaxes both delicate nuance and thunderous sonority from the Lorin Whitney studio theatre organ in this recording, with brilliantly clear sound quality. The bass pedals in particular, are reproduced with fullness and depth uncommon in this vintage of phonographic disc, with only some faint studio ground fault hum marring the background ambience. This album were combined on a recent CD, but since the master tapes were lost [a biting shame!]. This genuine recording merits attention, for it is quite rare, and one of the few theatrical pipe organ recordings with the added bonus of scintillating rhythmic percussion accompaniment. A real gem. Unique in that the percussion accompaniment adds a rejuvenating flair to this [usually] solo instrument, making its sound more accessible to listeners who would normally consider solo pipe organ to be somewhat dry.
