West Sichuan Transportation--The Pioneer of Sichua

The program focuses on the retired workers of “Chang Transportation Team 2“, a transportation team on the Sichuan-Tibet line. Through archival materials and in-depth interviews, the program tells the story of how the Eighth Tibet Automobile Team was relocated from the Northwest Gobi to the bottom of Erlang Mountain in Tianquan County, Ya’an, in 1966, and since then, it has been responsible for the construction of Tibet, and has been carrying on the important mission of prospering the economy of Sichuan and Tibet.
