M/S of a flooded town street, a man in uniform - King Albert - walks along a raised pathway made of planks, soldiers and onlookers stand on every available bit of dry land to greet him, the Queen and several dignitaries follow him along the pathway and get into a rowing boat. Various point of view shot from a moving vessel following the Royal party in their pontoon travelling down badly flooded streets, more rowing boats follow behind. People wave at the King and Queen from upper-storey windows of flooded buildings, one man even tips his hat whilst clinging onto a lamp post.
