2019 my trip to Embalse El Yeso Reservoir at Cajon Del Maipo in Santiago, Chile. The El Yeso reservoir is an artificial water reserve accumulated by a dam located in the Andes mountain range. The reservoir is located at the place called Boca del Valle, situated 23 km upstream from the junction of the Yeso River with the Maipo River, 1 at an altitude of 3000 meters above sea level, in the commune of San José de Maipo , Cordillera Province, Metropolitan Region of Santiago. It was built to provide security for the supply of drinking water and irrigation in the area.
