I’ve always loved this song from “Dynasty“! This bass line... awww.... it’s definitely one of Gene Simmons’ pure jewels! I don’t know about you guys, but for me Gene Simmons is one of those bass players you should look up to. It’s a common thing in the bass community to negate his talent, but I seriously don’t see any reason for such an attitude. Gene is an absolute icon for me in terms of bass with his unique composing style that lets his bass lead his own melody and not just copycat the guitar or something. Speed and techniques are good (and Gene has them all, by the way), but how many songs do you know where the bass line literally makes a song? Oh well, long story short, I think this is not the last KISS bass cover on this channel ;) Feel free to like, share and subscribe ;)
