Interesting insight into his youth, having to leave Cuba to come to America, growing up poor in New York as an infant, moving to New Jersy after his mother’s re-marriage, being bullied while growing up due to race and being different . He also talks about his early influences and passion with stop motion animation, home life and leaving for New York City at age 17 to start his career.
