Bentley Continental GT3 - 550Hp V8 Twin-Turbo Engine - Kateyama Test Days at Misano & Monza Circuits

I recently enjoyed filming a pair of Team CMR Bentley Continental GT3s, cars that usually compete in the GT World Challenge Europe Championship. In preparation for the races, the teams often take part in the midweek test days organized by Kateyama; specifically, I took this footage in March 2021 at Misano and Monza circuits. The Bentley is currently the biggest of the GT3 cars used in racing; it's powered by a V8 Twin-Turbo engine that develops 550 HP (410 kW) and moved by a Ricardo 6-speed sequential gearbox. We find huge Alcon self-ventilated brake discs to stop the total weight of 1,300 kg. As we said, despite its grandeur, the car is high-speed and competitive, especially on the Monza straights.
