Developed by Gearbox Software, whom you'll know from the Brothers in Arms series, the game is set in the future on a planet called Pandora. Once thought to contain a vast supply of valuable minerals, after colonization it was soon found to be mostly barren and worthless except for ancient alien artifacts. Rumours of a mysterious treasure stash called “the vault“ developed and it is said that the vault contains alien technology which will lead to the vast wealth of whoever locates it. A mercenary, played by you, has been tasked with finding and opening it.
