From the Academy-Award winning film, Coco. The emotional ending scene in which Hector reunites with his daughter, Coco. Miguel went to the Land of the Dead to meet who he thought was his father and idol, Ernesto de la Cruz. He later learns that the person helping him along, Hector, is actually his father and that Ernesto murdered Hector to get his songs. Hector and Ernesto were constantly touring and Hector missed his wife and daughter, Coco. He never got the chance to see his daughter again, something that bothered his spirit immensely. After Miguel gets a blessing from his great grandmother Imelda, he rushes to save Hector by playing a song that Hector used to sing to Coco called “Remember Me.“ One year later, Coco has died and the family remembers their dead relatives on Dios de los Meurtos. In the Land of the Dead, Hector and Coco are reunited at last and because they are being remembered by the living, they are allowed entry into the land of the living.
