Smithsonian National Postal Museum Photo Tour

Here are photographs of this often unfairly overlooked museum that I took on 29 August 2009. The photo tour actually begins at Union Station where I parked and then transitions to external views of the museum before moving inside it. I used my Canon EOS 5D Mark II SLR with Canon L-series 24-105mm short zoom and Canon L-series 17-40mm wide angle lenses. For the development of them, I used Lightroom 2.3 with additional work inside Photoshop Elements 7.0. I used Topaz Adjust and Topaz Simplify plug-ins to further enhance some of the pictures. Outside of PSE7, I used Photomatix to render some high dynamic range (HDR) compositions (using the Noiseware Standard 2.0 stand-alone application to knock down some of the resultant graininess in the images produced).
