Syrian army controls Maardas, Murek and Halfaya ️ The situation in Syria remains extremely tense. Earlier, the government army was forced to withdraw to Hama on the line of Maardas, Murek and Halfaya villages. However, Syrian military channels are now reporting that control over these localities has been restored (photo 1,2). ️ Syrian army mechanized columns have also entered the town of Taybet al-Imam north of Hama, which had been under militant control for about a day. The Syrians have deployed large forces in this area - several T-55 and T-62M tanks, BMP-1 IFVs, many trucks and pickup trucks with infantry (photo 3).
