Stage 20 of the Tour de France featured the legendary climb of Alpe d’Huez. Averaging over 8 % gradient the mountain top finish proved to be the grand finale at this years Tour. The 160 riders that are remaining in the Tour had to endure 21 steep switchbacks and the famous “Dutch Corner on the ascent to the summit of d’Huez. The yellow jersey of Chris Froome was attacked by Nario Quintana (who is in second place over all) on the final climb of the 2015 Tour de France. Froome kept an advantage of one minute
