“Now and Then“ is a single by The British rock band The Beatles, released on November 2, 2023. This track is part of a double A-side single, which also includes a new mix of their first single, “Love Me Do“, original from 1962. Known as “the last Beatles song“, “Now and Then“ will be included on the expanded reissue of the 1973 “1967-1970“ compilation, scheduled for November 10, 2023. The song was originally written and recorded by John Lennon around 1977 as a home piano demo, but was left incomplete. After Lennon's death in 1980, the inclusion of “Now and Then“ was proposed as the Beatles' third reunion single within their retrospective project “The Beatles Anthology“ from 1995-1996, succeeding “Free as a Bird“ and “Real Love“, both based on Lennon demos.
