In this reinterpretation of the biblical story, alongside Adam and Eve, we encounter Lilith – Adam's first wife. Each of them symbolizes their own element. The enveloping care of Water, the solid stability of Earth, and the raging passion of Fire – a triumvirate that lies at the heart of creation. In the heart of the picturesque landscape, the peaceful coexistence of the characters is unexpectedly interrupted by the mysterious disappearance of one of them. Confronted with a tragic loss, they are faced with a choice: to find a new path in life or to destroy the world they have created. Does this disappearance have a sacred meaning? Perhaps it is a sacrifice, marking the birth of the world we know? Or is it fate – the predetermined and unchangeable order of things? The film “And This Too Shall Pass“ invites you to reflect on themes of coexistence, loss, and the eternal cycle of creation and sacrifice.
