In this portrait sculpting demo, you’ll learn the process of establishing facial features like the mouth, nose, and cheekbones by adding small pieces of clay while frequently checking the likeness from all angles. I explain my process for paying attention to the direction of forms, maintaining symmetry as I build up the facial features, and how slowly developing the sculpture as a whole gets you closer to accurately capturing the likeness. If you enjoy this lesson consider going premium. The full portrait sculpting course offers more in-depth instruction on each step of the portrait sculpting process.
