Elche, 2 de Febrero de 2024, en La Sede de la Asociación de Bellas Artes de Elche (ABAE) situada en el Parc Municipal, y a las 19:30h se inauguró la exposición DISTOPÍAS de David Fernández Falagán, dedicada al género de la ciencia ficción de las Distopías, o sociedades futuras de anticipación. Este año con motivo del 40 Aniversario del estreno de la adaptación cinematográfica de Michael Radford de 1984 (1984) protagonizada por John Hurt, Richard Burton y Susanna Hamilton, un servidor ha querido rendirle un homenaje de todas las pinturas expuestas allí, y basadas también en las obras literarias y cinematográficas, a la mencionada obra, incluyendo también la versión del año 1956 dirigida por Michael Radford, y protagonizada por Edmond O'Brien, Michael Redgrave y Jan Sterling. Esta presente exposición estará abierta al público hasta el día 23 de Febrero de 2024. Elche, February 2, 2024, at the Headquarters of the Fine Arts Association of Elche (ABAE) located in the Municipal Park, and at 7:30 p.m. the exhibition DISTOPÍAS by David Fernández Falagán was inaugurated, dedicated to the genre of science fiction of Dystopias, or future societies of anticipation. This year, on the occasion of the 40th Anniversary of the premiere of Michael Radford's 1984 film adaptation (1984) starring John Hurt, Richard Burton and Susanna Hamilton, yours truly wanted to pay tribute to all the paintings exhibited there, and also based on literary and cinematographic works, to the aforementioned work, also including the 1956 version directed by Michael Radford, and starring Edmond O'Brien, Michael Redgrave and Jan Sterling. This present exhibition will be open to the public until February 23, 2024.
