Black Sheep is the first album released under the “Hammer“ banner led by Jan Hammer, released in 1978. It was his first album since recording “Melodies“ with the Jan Hammer Group in 1977. This album also features Hammer covering “Manic Depression“ by Jimi Hendrix. Black Sheep remains one of the rare, sought after albums released by Hammer. *NOTE: “Light Of Dawn“ and “Silent One“ are missing, for 2 reasons: 1. There was only one version of “Light Of Dawn“ on YouTube, but it was in very poor quality, and could not be found anywhere else for download. 2. “Silent One“ is nowhere to be found anywhere on the internet.
