FANUC’s Authorized System Integrator Brenton designed and built a jug load packaging system using two FANUC M-710 robots. Each robot picks various size bottles off an infeed conveyor and places them into a case. How the System Works: Bottles are conveyed into Brenton’s screw metering assembly, then the screws turn the bottles wide side leading depending on pattern. A servo drive comb assembly captures and stages bottles for the robots. The robots then use a clamp style end-of-arm-tool to pick and pack products. System Benefits: Increased throughput. Robots pick bottle sizes from 16oz. to one gallon. EOAT easily handles different size containers. FANUC M-710 This innovative series of lightweight robots is designed for handling applications in the medium payload range from 12 to 70 kg. Featuring a slim wrist, rigid arm and small footprint, FANUC's M-710 robots are ideal for a wide range of applications and come with a reach of up to 3.1 m. About Brenton Brenton is a global leader in designing and manufacturing integrated end-of-line case packaging systems and machines, specializing in case packing and palletizing using both robotics and other automation.
