B`ee grew up around the suburbs of Düsseldorf in Germany. During her younger years she would sing and entertain her friends who were captivated by her deep and soulful voice. In 2020, B’ee formed the band Sounds of Silence who went on to record several acoustic based tracks, including a cover version of the Iyeoka Okoawo song ‘Simply Falling’, which was picked up by a number of international radio stations. In 2022, she was approached by blues guitarist, Mick Simpson, with a view to establishing her as a solo artist and recording an album of original songs, with this in mind she formed a working relationship with Simpson, along with songwriter and producer Andy Littlewood, and the three of them started collaborating on new material. The first single ‘Shut the World Away’, was released in May 2022, followed by three further singles ‘Slow Moving Train’, ‘Drowning in My Tears’, and ‘A Place to Call Home.’ Her highly anticipated debut album ‘What’s It Gonna B’ee’ was released on the Mad Ears Productions label in October 2023. The first single ‘Midnight Rain’ received extensive worldwide radio airplay, including support from BBC Music introducing, and the BBC Upload Show, as well as spending an impressive 14 weeks in the Dutch Hit-Tracks Top 100 Music Chart. The new album is also currently receiving a great deal of airplay and has just entered the prestigious RMR Blues Radio Chart at number 27.
