A new Guinness World Record for the longest Riverdance line was set in Dublin today, Sunday July 21 as part of Riverdance The Gathering. 1,693 people from 44 countries smashed the previous world record of 652 dancers set in Nashville Tennessee. Led by Jean Butler, one of the original stars of Riverdance, the Riverdance line stretched for 1km along the banks of the river Liffey in Dublin city.
