The International Space Station, ISS, passes over the Bay of Biscay and Southern France, as viewed from my roof in Cheshire in the north-west of England (19th June 2012). At its closest point, the ISS was 800km (500 miles) away, but moved away to about 1400km (875 miles) when it passed into low cloud to the East. This video is sped up 3 times. You can find out if the ISS is visible where you are by going to You can also sign up with NASA to get notifications of when the ISS is going to be visible for you: Social Media: Facebook: Twitter: Instagram: Google Plus: RichardB1983
