Huge fire rips through historic post office building in Manila

A massive fire tore through a historic post office building in the Philippines capital, Manila, overnight. Police said several people, mainly firefighters, were injured in the fire, which was brought under control in the morning. Firefighters said the blaze caused an estimated 300m pesos (£) worth of damage to the building. Manila's Central Post Office is considered one of the capital's busiest office buildings and is located on an intersection of key roads. The building was closed when the fire began.
