Happy Birthday, @officialgeorgebenson! Today the legendary jazz guitarist and singer George Benson turns 80 & my good friend @TorstenGoods and I pay tribute to his incredible musical legacy with our version of “On Broadway“. As a guitarist, George Benson is one of my (and our) greatest influences. His virtuosity and emotional playing have always been a constant inspiration to us! From the first time I heard his music, I was fascinated by his seamless ability to blend complex jazz lines with soulful, bluesy licks & his focus on creating memorable and catchy melodies. His music has had a lasting impact on the world of jazz and beyond - Happy Birthday! This was recorded during Torsten's visit at my online class “GypsyGuitarAcademy“.
