In this 1963 London recording, Karl Münchinger (1915-1990) conducts the Stuttgart Chamber Orchestra in a performance of the first two movements of the Concerto No. 1 in G major - the first of six of the “Concerti Armonici“ which today we know were the work of one Unico Wilhelm van Wassenaer (1692-1766) but which, at the time of this recording, were generally performed as works of Giovanni Pergolesi (1710-1736).
