The family of a Florida woman who died after being infected by a flesh-eating bacteria at the beach is sounding the alarm. Lynn Fleming died late last week at the age of 77 after walking along a popular Gulf of Mexico beach near her home and contracting necrotizing fasciitis, a rare but deadly bacterial infection that kills the body’s soft tissue.
