In the last days of the Great War of the Titans, King Carl Fritz decided to end the war and achieve lasting peace for the Eldians. The King gathered the people of Eldia on Paradise Island and used the power of the Progenitor to guide the Colossal Titans in the construction of three concentric Walls around the remaining territory of Eldia: Maria, Rosa and Sina, erected using the ability of the Titans to solidify. After all the Eldians who followed the king and some non-Eldi minorities gathered inside the Walls, the gates were sealed. Then King Fritz sent an official warning to the enemies of Eldia, which was that if anyone dares to take any hostile actions against his people, thousands of titans from the Walls of Paradise will wipe out the aggressors from the face of the earth. However, King Fritz sent a secret message to the remaining part of the Fritz family and the Tiber family on the mainland, stating that he had sworn an oath to refuse to participate in this war, and his ultimatum was nothing more than an empty intimidation. The oath of the First King ensured that none of his successors would use the power of the Titan Progenitor to threaten the world again, allowing the inhabitants of the island to live in happy ignorance until their enemies arrived to destroy the Eldian people. Karl Fritz believed that the Eldians deserved it for their earlier crimes. As King Fritz had hoped, no one had attacked the island for a century, although Marlia began to use the island’s territory outside the Walls as a reservation for criminals or undesirable elements from among the Ymir people turned into Titans. However, eighty years after the end of the Great Titan War, the decline of the military industry of Marlia attracted the attention of the country’s military leadership to the reserves of fossil fuels on Paradise. Although the Marlians were already aware of the oath of the First King, the threat of the “Hum“ was still too serious to launch a full-scale military invasion. Instead, Marlia began training Warriors for the subsequent Operation on Paradise, infiltrating the Walls using the Power of the Titans, but without the use of military force, which hypothetically could provoke the King of the Walls. Also, the Restorers of the Guild, led at this time by Grisha Yeager, were going to use the Warriors program to penetrate the Walls and capture the power of the Titan Progenitor. PIERCE PROD.
