São Pedro de Moel is a very nice village by the coast, located approximately 1h north of Lisbon. The area is surrounded by the largest pinewood forest of the country and the beach is a mandatory stop if you’re in the area and want to get some tan or simply take a look at some nice scenarios. There are plenty of good restaurants with great fresh seafood around, and also beach bars for a snack. You will also find some clubs and bars if you’re looking for some night life. São Pedro de Moel fica totalmente inserido no Pinhal de Leiria, um pouco a sul da foz da Ribeira de Moel. A praia aqui existente é muito procurada por famílias para descansar e gozar férias durante o período de Verão. É regularmente utilizada para a prática de surf e bodyboard. Para quem gosta de desporto ao ar livre, existe um campo de ténis, e várias ciclovias. Existem vários hotéis, restaurantes, cafés e bares para acolher os turistas.
