My Mom and I were sitting outside on TGIF;s patio eating in South Beach Miami on Jan 2011, when a dog walked up to us and pawed for money. He hit up every persons table with no luck. I decided that his hard work deserved a dollar, and as soon as I gave it to him he walked off to his owner- a homeless man who shouted “good job buddy- bring me the bucket.“ Now that is a smart homeless man. At least my Mom had a good time visiting from Canada.
