At least 23 Palestinians have been killed in overnight Israeli strikes in Gaza. Several areas in southern Gaza are being targeted. At least four people have been killed in Rafah, including two children. Scores of the injured have been taken to hospital. In Khan Younis, at least 13 Palestinians were killed in Israeli air strikes that targeted residential areas around the Nasser hospital and Al-Amal. And a deal has been brokered by Qatar and France to allow a limited supply of medicine and other aid into Gaza. The deal will see Palestinians, who are facing famine like conditions, receive some humanitarian aid, while medication will be sent for 45 of the Israeli captives being held in Gaza. Al Jazeera’s Hani Mahmoud has more in Rafah in southern Gaza and Stephanie Dekker is in occupied East Jerusalem for the latest developments about the Qatar aid deal.
