Palestine Protest Wall St & Washington Square Park NYC

/ By Meir / Lower Manhattan - At around 5:30 pm. people gathered in front of the New York Stock Exchange in support of Gaza organized by Within Your Lifetime under the mantra “Flood Wall St. for Gaza“. They were met with a small amount of counter protesters which dissipated shortly after. The protest then headed north via Nassau Street stopping at City Hall where they urged Mayor Eric Adams, Governor Kathy Hochul, and NYC Councilwoman Inna Vernikov to resign. They then walked North on Centre Street, stopping at the NYS Supreme Court where organizers projected their messages on the facade, and where an evening Islamic prayer was held. | By Usman | WASHINGTON SQ PARK, Manhattan- Pro Palestine Protesters marched from Wall St to Washington Sq Park. The Protests went peacefully with no arrests. They are more planned demonstrations planned for this weekend.
