Internationally acclaimed Kathak danseuse Prerana Deshpande performs Ganesh Vandana. This composition is a classic example of Guru-shishya parampara (Teacher-disciple tradition) as it reached Prerana ji from her illustrious Guru Pandita Dr. Rohini Bhate who got it from her Guru legendary Pt. Mohanraoji Kalyanpurkar who was a senior disciple of Pt. Achchan Maharaj ji of Lucknow gharana and Pt. Sundar Prasad ji of Jaipur gharana. This Vandana describes and depicts the many virtues of Lord Ganesh.
