The darker tones and heavy beat of “Limbo“ provides an unnerving opening, but the track soon hits its stride with grooved synth line and rasping bassline that pulsates gently in side-chained fashion. Textured pads swim across the stereo spectrum with ease as a strong lead line makes its presence felt in the third movement. Characterised by a complex and chunky rhythmic framework, “Poetry Slam“ sees another flowing lead line sit enticingly in the mid-range as a chorus of spot effects add character and depth.
