Alternately Flash 2 LEDs with One Transistor Get solderstick at 20% OFF with discount code “LE20“ at In this video we look at a circuit that published in Forrest Mims, “Timer, op Amp Circuits and projects book. On page 91 is the Dual LED Flasher. This circuit uses a self flashing LED, a standard 5mm LED and a transistor to alternately flash the LEDs. When the Self Flash LED (SFL) is “on“ no current flows into the base of the 2n2222 transistor, so the other LED is off. When the SFL is off, current flows into the base of the 2n2222 and the standard LED is on. 1. Autumn Promotions links: 2.
