KMTC HONGKONG (Republic of Korea) Fully cellular containership KMTC Hongkong (16731 gt, built 1998) reportedly experienced fire while docked at the Laem Chabang port in Thailand, at about 0800 hrs, local time. More than ten fire trucks are trying to extinguish the fire. Initial reports state that there has been a chemical leak which affected crew or people nearby and victims had to be taken to hospitals.
