Following an unusually lengthy pitstop, Century Motorsport BMW M4 GT3 #91 fell back in the pack from 1st to 13th and almost lost any hope on bringing the championship title home. However, during that pitstop there was a driver change and Dan Harper - BMW Motorsport Junior Team works driver - got behind the wheel in order to make as much ground as he could within the race time left at disposal. Harper was simply put on a mission - climb up to at least fifth place, so that he could score enough points to seal the GT3 drivers championship. Surely he wasn’t going to restrain himself from pushing like hell and there he went - kept the pedal to the metal and made up 12 places within 40 minutes, ultimately finishing second and scoring more than enough points to become crowned British GT 2023 GT3 Champion, thanks to his professional driving skills as well as team crew who prepared a competitive car with a near perfect setup.
