Tyketto is a hard rock band based out of New York City. The group was put together in 1987 by former Waysted vocalist Danny Vaughn; Brooke St. James (guitar), Jimi Kennedy (bass), and Michael Clayton (drums) completed the 1990, the band had signed to Geffen Records, and released their debut album Don't Come Easy, which included the modestly successful single “Forever Young“. Musically, the album was somewhere between Whitesnake and Bon Jovi, and Tyketto opened for the former on many bills. However, the rise of the grunge sound in 1991 saw Tyketto's hopes of a big breakthrough begin to recede. Jimi left the band and was replaced by Jamie Scott. Their second album was rejected by Geffen and finally emerged in 1994 under the title Strength in Numbers on CMC International in the USA and Music for Nations elsewhere in the world. :// Lyrics No sleeping She waits 'til it's late Trying to stay tough Never ending However long she waits It's just nine He's sleeping late No word come round Yearning dreams come tumbling down He spents out every road, peacful dead in town And now we're two more runners in the night Forever young Time on her side We got tomorrow We got tonight Two hungry hearts Out on the run We'll always be forever young She's crying two words can lie Can't take anymore He's denaing the kick inside But then he sweared by death We make a deal you and I Caude our hearts will hope to die No matter what may come We'll never say goodbye But now we're two more runners in the night Forever young Time on her side We got tomorrow We got tonight Two hungry hearts Out on the run We'll always be forever young Forever, just to make love Forever, forever just to make love
