This is the parade on Moscow's Red Square devoted to the 61st anniversary of the Great October Socialist Revolution, 7 November 1978. This parade is notable for being the only sunny parade in the entire 1970's decade! Taking the salute is Minister of Defense, Marshal of the Soviet Union Dmitriy Ustinov. Commanding the parade is commander of the Moscow Military District, General of the Army Vladimir Govorov.
