Mexico's “Day of the Dead“ is a vibrant celebration of life with some INSANE festivities all across the city! Mexico City knocked me off my feet with its parade, ofrendas, costumes, food, and more! ❁Please subscribe❁ I've been celebrating Dia de Muertos in Mexico for years now. It's by far my favorite holiday in Mexico. This year, I traveled to CDMX (Mexico City) and it was SO MUCH FUN!! During these 5 days I experienced: - Dia de Muertos desfile (the Day of the Dead parade) - Elaborate ofrendas, aka altars to remember loved ones who have passed - Extremely delicious food - Xochimilco and seeing the famous Prehispanic axolote / axolotl - Getting my face painted like a catrina - Meeting new friends - People watching on Avenida Reforma - Pets dressed up in costume - Going to Plaza Garibaldi to see mariachis - Seeing lots of people dressed up in elaborate costumes
