Hundreds of millions of people in North America are preparing for a rare cosmic display. The continent will experience its first total solar eclipse in 8 years tomorrow. The next solar eclipse won't occur for 2 decades. Americans outside the path will see a partial eclipse. It’s expected to be the single biggest travel day for the US this year.
