Pan's People were THE Girl Dancers everyone loved - especially the male fans! “Top of The Pops“, the music chart show on the BBC had millions of viewers, and from May 1968, Pan's People became the show's resident dance troupe. The most remembered line-up consisted of : Louise Clarke, Felicity - “Flick“ Colby, Barbara - “Babs“ Lord, Ruth Pearson, Andrea - “Andi“ Rutherford, Patricia - “Dee Dee“ Wilde. I was fortunate enough to chat and drink with Louise in the early1970s at BBC Television Centre's “ News Bar“ - a drinking zone originally created for the use of TV News staff only ( The BBC TV News unit had recently re-located here from Alexandra Palace). I was a youhg news film editor at the time, and I and all my colleagues used the bar at the end of news transmissions.
