A series of complaints directed at the camera, nobody wanted to take care of them before. It turns out that the complaints focus on local policemen. They visit a family arguing about money, children and alcohol. The officers also police some workplaces, especially at night, when burglaries do occur due to the carelessness of sleeping caretakers. They also visit schools, organize preventive meetings with young people. The officers have to play different roles – confessors, tutors, policemen. An observational documentary focusing on the work of two police officers from Warsaw. Krzysztof Gradowski, the director of this film known primarily from the “Pan Kleks” series, worked as a documentary and animation filmmaker before focusing on feature films. During his career, Gradowski focused on the problems of young people (“Urodzeni w niedzielę“), the specificity of the professions of public trust (“Droga do pacjenta“) or criminal issues (“Konsul“). In the 35mm film library, one may find another documentary directed by Gradowski – “Zanik serca“.
