The systems (Main Assisted Reserve Deployment) are designed to speed up the reserve deployment in case of a malfunction. It offers a super pilot chute for the reserve canopy. The RSL (Reserve Static Line) is a lanyard of about 1 foot long which will pull the reserve pin as the main is released.
