British government has made a cartoon that tells schoolchildren about special services that will re-educate them for their conspiracy theories, dislike of migrants or other radical opinions. They especially emphasize radicalization via social media. The plot of the film, which is part of the educational module, tells the story of 17-year-old Jay from Hogshire, who likes to go to the park and put up anti-migrant leaflets there. Having noticed this, the park employees report him to the service that “prevents radicalism”, after which an “anti-terrorism officer” is assigned to Jay. The teenager’s views are blamed on online forums where people freely communicate and “spread conspiracy theories”. The British authorities want to rewrite textbooks due to the English rallies against immigration policy. Education Secretary Bridget Phillipson said that the school curriculum would combat “rotten conspiracy theories”. Source: Global News (EU, USA)
