Composer: John Williams “Condensed“ by: tomekkobialka pf: London Symphony Orchestra cond/ John Williams With Halloween around the corner, I thought I'd upload a film track which to me always conjures images of floating pumpkins, flying spectres and haunted castles... “The Face of Voldemort“ is one of the last tracks present in the “Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone“ soundtrack album. It is the music which plays during the scene where Harry confronts Voldemort. The condensed score was derived from the full score. This doesn't account for changes made during the recording sessions, so if the full score deviated from the audio, I tried to “brush up“ wherever possible. For example I'm not sure what the “meltdown cluster“ don't think I can hear it, but it may just be far back in the mix. I'll leave it up to the listener to decide whether it's actually present in the performance or not.
