Slovak patriotic song “Kto za pravdu horí“ (“Who Burns for the Truth“) or “Sláva šlachotným“ were written by Slovak evangelical priest Karol Kuzmány in 1848 and became one of the national anthems of Slovakia. Song became most popular in 1918 in Czechoslovak indepence movement from Austria-Hungary, but finally “Nad Tatrou sa blýska“ became official anthem.
