Chobham, Surrey. Medium panning shot of a moving vehicle which looks like a tank. Interesting thing is that it has proper tyres (three pairs). Vehicle stops in front of an officer standing in the middle of the road. M/S of a man climbing down the vehicle. Two officers salute. This is steel vehicle “Saladin“, armoured car designed to be the principal reconnaissance vehicle of the British Army. It is in the Army's Fighting Vehicle Research and Development Establishment at Chobham, Surrey, that the vehicle was created. Voiceover talks about its characteristics. Several M/S and C/U shots demonstrating vehicle's capacity and characteristics. M/S of the armoured car moving. Its top is opened and one of the crew is observing the terrain.
