We built a unique large format movie camera with the massive Leica lens that is equivalent to an impossible 29mm f0.3 lens. Come along with us as we explore the connection between lens speed, depth of field, and format. Show you how we combined two large format cameras, and designed a precise motorised focus system. We take you behind the scenes and show you how we shot or short above and below the surface. We experiment with large format cameras, ground glass, light, DoF adapters , and film with a massive spy plane lens. Check out the HDR Version of the Short “The Iron Sea” Please join the ranks of the Media Division: All members can watch our satellite episode, with DIY explanations on how to build a DoF camera.
